Demonstrate how key supply chain processes are applied throughout the stages of resourcing, product design, and development, logistics, and distribution.

The key to supply chain processing is divided into four specific standard models. These models are supply chain operational reference (SCOR). SCOR provides a set of standard processes and methods for business activities. There are also 6 processes to meet in SC management. The first is planning, balancing aggregate demand and supply processes to meet production and delivery requirements. Then comes the source, process location and product of purchasing, procuring goods and services to meet planned or actual needs. The third is the process of converting the product into the final state to meet the planned demand, and the fourth is the process of delivering the finished product and service to meet the demand, including order management, transportation management, distribution management, and inventory management. The fifth is the return, the process of returning or receiving the return for other reasons. Finally, it is enabled to support the process for performing operations from the SC. (Ogrinja, 2013)

Next is the Global Supply Chain Forum (GSCF), which consists of eight key processes with SCM, including customer relationship management, supplier relationship management, customer service management, requirements management, order fulfilment, manufacturing process management, product development, and commercialization and return management. In these eight processes, customer relationship management and supplier relationship management have key connections with external companies. (Douglas M. Lambert, The fundamental structure of SCM in the vision of GSCF, 2013)

Finally, is the Frazelle framework for supply chain logistics, the four models described above (SCOR, GSCF, CSCMP, Frazelle), many companies may also implement, SCOR models and CSCMP provide SCOR models involving source, production, and logistics management activities easier to implement. The Frazelle model is closer to logistics activities and can be used for the management of logistics activities.
