In this case, Nordstrom was actually conducting the market targeting strategy which targets most high-end products and luxury products to be sold with a high price, high profitability. However, Nordstrom has sold most of the fashion items and products that are highly and easily effect by uncontrollable external factors such as personal preference and its product variety.
